IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE DANCER'S HAIR IS TIED UP FOR SAFETY REASONS AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO PERFORM WITH ENTHUSIASM.

JEWELLERY SHOULD NOT BE WORN FOR ANY CLASS. STUD EARRINGS IF EARS ARE PIERCED ARE ACCEPTABLE.

The teachers would like to reiterate that the children work harder and enjoy their classes more if they are of neat and tidy appearance. It also helps them spot errors in stance etc, all so important in Dance. This is especially the case when they come straight from school. Brushing their hair and tidying them up gets the endorphins going and they participate much more heartily!
