Adult Dance Classes
We run various adult classes for a range of abilities. Whether you are looking for a traditional ballet setting or physical conditioning, our classes cater to both general and ability-specific needs.
General Adult Ballet
A traditional ballet setting including a gentle warmup, barre work, and finishing with centre work. Suitable for those with basic knowledge of ballet.
General/Improvers Ballet
Includes some slightly more complex choreography. Suitable for those who have been attending classes for a few years (either as an adult or child).
Ballet Conditioning
Focuses on conditioning exercises that target strength in the upper back, core, legs, and ankles to improve balance, deportment, and flexibility. No previous ballet experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga/pilates mat to this class.
Adult Tap
(Unfortunately, no classes running at present) Following traditional American tap style, this class challenges the brain-to-muscle connection and helps maximize brain function through regular aerobic training.

Attire & Footwear
Wear anything that allows free and safe movement (leggings, t-shirts, or leotards). Ballet shoes or dance trainers are recommended for ballet. Hard shoes work well for a tap trial. A yoga or pilates mat is required for conditioning.
Fees & Terms
Fees are paid termly (11–13 weeks). Invoices are emailed for online payment or bank transfer. Cash or cheques in a named envelope are also accepted. We offer a free trial class to all new students.
Missed Classes: If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you are welcome to make it up by joining any of our other adult classes—there’s no requirement to do so in the same week.
