COVID-19 Risk Assessments
Below are the key points drawn from our risk assessments for each venue
SPD Studio - Upper Rissington
Parking: Pebbled area nearest the roundabout
Access: from the car park, round the front of the building and round towards the back.
Arrival:
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when queuing to get in the building
- Students must have their own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
- Parents of those old enough to enter the premises themselves must check there is a teacher from Sheila Price Dance present before they leave them
- Parents must come in the studio with their child and leave through the fire exit.
- Refrain from touching doors where possible; we will prop open as many doors as possible
- The toilets will only be available for the students
- PLEASE CAN WE URGE PARENTS TO EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION IN CLASS AND ENSURE A SMOOTH CHANGE OVER FOR EVERYONE unless there is something you need to let us know urgently ahead of your child’s clas
Pick up:
- Students will put their outdoors shoes/clothes on before leaving the building (we have helpers to assist with this if they are Year 6 or below) and they will be handed to you ready to go
- Parents must queue (keeping a 2 metre distance) at the exit - this can be accessed through the gate from the car park, following the path round the the left
- We will not let a child in Year 6 or below leave the building without seeing you, unless you have discussed it with us
Bourton Leisure Centre
Parking: Leisure Centre car park
Access: via the fire escape that opens onto the car park
Arrival:
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when queuing to get in the building
- Students must have their own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
- Parents must come in the studio with their child and leave through the fire exit.
- Students will be allowed to come into the studio as soon as they arrive to reduce congestion outside. It is a large room with plenty of space for them to sit and wait for their class to start
- PLEASE CAN WE URGE PARENTS TO EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION IN CLASS AND ENSURE A SMOOTH CHANGE OVER FOR EVERYONE unless there is something you need to let us know urgently ahead of your child’s class.

- We will not let a child in Year 6 or below leave the building without seeing you, unless you have discussed it with us
St Edward’s Hall Stow
Access: Through the main doors
Arrival:
- Do not enter the building until 5 minutes before the start time of your child’s class
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when entering the building
- Students are to be dropped off via the door to the left (nearest the kitchen)
- Parents of those old enough to enter themselves must check there is a teacher from Sheila Price Dance on the premises before they leave them
- Students must have their own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
- Students must come straight into the hall on arrival
- PLEASE CAN WE URGE PARENTS TO EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION IN CLASS AND ENSURE A SMOOTH CHANGE OVER FOR EVERYONE unless there is something you need to let us know urgently ahead of your child’s class.

- Students will put their outdoors shoes/clothes on before leaving the main hall and they will be handed to you ready to go
- We will not let a child in Year 6 or below leave the building without seeing you, unless you have discussed it with us
Venue: Upper Rissington Village Hall
Parking: Village Hall car park
Access: Through main entrance
Arrival:
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when entering the building and keep to the left as you come through the main doors
- Students must have their own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
- Parents of those old enough to enter themselves must check there is a teacher from Sheila Price Dance present before they leave them (we will put a sign on the door saying classes in progress)
- Parents must leave the students at the door of the main hall (with the teacher) and leave through the main doors (keeping to the left)
- PLEASE CAN WE URGE PARENTS TO EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION IN CLASS AND ENSURE A SMOOTH CHANGE OVER FOR EVERYONE unless there is something you need to let us know urgently ahead of your child’s class.

Adult Classes at Rissington Hall
Parking: Village Hall car park
Access: Through main entrance
Entering the premises:
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when entering the building and keep to the left as you come through the main doors
- You must have your own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
Exiting the premises:
- Adult students will leave the hall via the fire exit to the back of the hall keeping a 2 metre distance
Venue: Fosseway Garden Centre
- Ensure you stay 2 metres apart when queuing to enter the studio
- Students must have their own hand sanitiser and apply it on arrival
- Students must come straight into the hall on arrival
- PLEASE CAN WE URGE PARENTS TO EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS TO AVOID CONGESTION IN CLASS AND ENSURE A SMOOTH CHANGE OVER FOR EVERYONE unless there is something you need to let us know urgently ahead of your child’s class.
Pick Up:
- Students are to be picked up from the door of the studio
- Ensure you distance when queuing to pick your child up
- All students need to have left the centre by 5.30pm when it closes.
