Performances: Sunday 30th March 2025

Students arrive: 10.30am

Dress Rehearsal: 12.30pm

Matinee performance: 3.30pm

Evening performance 6.00pm

The show running time is approximately 1 hour 40 mins including a 20 minute interval.

Performance finishes: 7.40pm

Information for the day:

Performers need to be signed in on arrival

Performers are free to go after the second show once they are changed and have put their costumes in the relevant piles

They will be sent down to the foyer to be signed out

There will not be enough time in between shows for them to leave and come back however they can come and see you/relatives after the first show so please ask at the door shortly after the first show has finished.

Their hair will be in this style if any of you are able to do it before they get there that would be useful: External link opens in new tab or windowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3L9-awtSlk&t=31s (Year 6 to 10)

Items to bring:

Enough food to keep them going all day and evening. No nuts please. Water can be refilled.

Tan leotard or underwear*

Black shorts

Relevant footwear for each dance (a separate email has been sent)

Any items of costumes that have already been sent home (a separate email has been sent)

Layers to keep them warm that won’t mess their hair up when taken on and off

Something to keep them entertained when they’re waiting in between rehearsals and performances etc

Any phones and other valuables brought to the theatre are the responsibility of the students themselves and NOT the teachers or helpers

No coloured nail varnish on hands or feet

No jewellery to be brought in at all

If they can’t take their earrings out please cover with plasters before they come

If they need an inhaler please ensure they have this with them

* All students from year 6 and above will need tan underwear to wear under their costumes to keep them covered up during costumes changes. Tan body suits/leotards are perfect for this. If they need more support they can wear a tan bra and high legged knickers (not shorts). Bras must have tan fabric straps and not rubber. The shiny straps show too much on stage under the lights.

Costs

We charge a small show fee to cover the costumes, staff, and theatre hire for rehearsals.

Show fees are charged per discipline and not per class.

One discipline (i.e ballet or modern) £20

Two disciplines £25

Three or more disciplines £30

N.B: Pointe Work is a separate discipline
